Ronald Clay Miller, age 83 of Glenville, WV; departed this life on the morning of December 05, 2016 at the Glenville Health Care Center, following an extended illness.
Born September 28, 1933 in Gilmer County, WV, Ronald Clay was the son of the late Ola and Cora Zinn Miller.
Ronald was a caretaker for the Glenville State College farm, and he worked several odd jobs. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending time with family and friends, spoiling his grandchildren whenever possible.
He was a Christian by faith.
On August 14, 1960 he was united in marriage to Ruby Miller, who preceded him in death on February 21, 2015.
Surviving are 2 children, Elizabeth Justice and Walter Miller of Arnoldsburg, WV; 5 grandchildren, Rose Freeman and husband Scott of Burnsville, WV; Travis Justice of Burnsville, Carl Justice and Sheila Poling of Arnoldsburg, Timothy Hicks and wife Jadale of North Dakota, and Tyler Hicks of Parkersburg, WV; 9 great grandchildren, Sean, Zachary, Taylor and Scotty Freeman of Burnsville, and Jadelynn, Carley, and Trenton Hicks of North Dakota, Zach and Brooklyn Collins of Arnoldsburg and several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by 1 son, Vernon G. Miller, 1 grandson, Larry Brooks Justice and 2 sisters, Dorothy Minnich and Frances Spatted.
Ronald’s request for cremation has been honored and expressions of sympathy may be sent directly to the family at 26 Creek Street, Arnoldsburg, WV; 25234.
