Frank Price Radcliffe III 69 of Kanawha St. in Glenville, WV departed this life at 6:30 PM Monday, November 27, 2017 at the Louis A. Johnson Medical Center in Clarksburg, WV following an extended illness. Born July 26, 1948 in Lewis County, WV; Frank is the son of the late Frank P. II and Louise Villers Radcliffe.
Frank was a graduate of Lewis County High School, class of 1966. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served in the United States Air Force with the rank of Sergeant. Frank worked for many years in the telecommunications industry as a Senior Technician and retired from Verizon Communications in 2003.
In his spare time, Frank loved riding and working on his motorcycle. He enjoyed working with electronics, tinkering with things, and the freedom of the open road.
On September 9, 2017 Frank was united in marriage to Greta Stalnaker Radcliffe, who survives at their Glenville home.
Surviving are 2 children, Rob Radcliffe (Wanda) of Brunswick, OH; and Sharon Webb (Dana) of Avon Lake, OH; and 4 grandchildren, Dehlia and Olivia Radcliffe of Brunswick, and Nathan Spence and Lily Webb of Avon Lake.
Also surviving is his sister, Angela Radcliffe-Hall of Kentucky and numerous other relatives and friends.
Along with his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his brother Staff SGT Donald E. Dotson USMC, who was killed in action during the Vietnam War.
Per Frank’s request his body was cremated and the family will have a memorial services at a later date.
