Rhonda Jean Simon, 52, of Lakeland, FL, departed this earthly life on Friday, April 1, 2022 at the Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center following a sudden illness.
She was born September 19, 1969 in Parkersburg, WV, daughter of James and Doris “Nicki” Nichols Reaser of Grafton, WV.
Rhonda is a graduate of Lakeland Senior High School, class of 1987. She worked in the financial department of Marriott Vacation Worldwide in Lakeland, and had 25 years experience with the company. In her spare time, she enjoyed photography, traveling, and spending time in West Virginia. She was a loving, caring person to all and was a faithful member of the Lord’s church and worshiped with the brethren at the Edgewood Church of Christ in Lakeland.
In 1989, Rhonda was united in marriage to James Marvin Simon, who survives at their home in Lakeland, FL.
Along with her parents and husband, Rhonda is survived by her loving son, James Logan Simon of Lakeland, her brother, Rob Reaser and wife Kim of Barbour County, WV, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other wonderful family and friends.
Rhonda’s final resting place will be in the Meadow Lane Cemetery in Glenville.
