Frances Ann Morris
June 2, 1952 - July 8, 2022
Frances Ann Layfield Morris age 70 of Bonnett Hollow, Glenville, departed this earthly life at 4:59 p.m., Friday, July 8, 2022 at Hospice House, Elkins, WV following an extended illness.
She was born June 2, 1952 in Washington, DC, a daughter of the late Arthur and Patricia Layfield Windel.
Mrs. Morris love of knowledge and reading led her in quite diverse occupational careers, beginning as a beautician and cosmetologist, then becoming a CNA and nursing assistant, her love of animals a degree in veterinarian medicine, she was a veterinarian assistant and then receiving an associate degree in psychology. She loved reading, gardening, caring for others and especially animals.
On January 23, 1982 she was united in marriage to Howard L. Morris, Jr. who survives at their Glenville home.
Surviving: 1 daughter, Ryan Storm (John) of Greensboro; NC; 1 son, Howard L. Morris III (Laura), Bunker Hill, WV; 2 sisters, Becky Hawes of Stephens City, VA and Betty Shell of Front Royal, VA; 2 granddaughters, Aviya Storm and Alaina Morris and her first grandson in just a couple of months.
Frances’s desire for cremation has been fulfilled and she will be remembered, honored and loved and memorialized in her own special way.
