Charlotte A. Lattea, 78 of Glenville, WV; departed this earthly life in the late morning hours of Saturday, May 31, 2025 at the Glenville Center Nursing Facility in Glenville WV; following an extended illness.
She was born July 8, 1946 in Gilmer County, daughter of the late Gerald and Floda Jenkins Langford.
Charlotte is a homemaker who loved caring for her family. In her spare time, Charlotte enjoyed attending yard sales, working puzzle books, collecting baby dolls and other knick-knacks, spending time with family and friends, and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whenever possible.
Surviving are 4 children, Dolly Lattea of Glenville, Diana Carr (Rodney) of Glenville, Kathy Carr (Roland) of Glenville, and Billy Langford of Glenville, and 2 siblings, Jessie Langford of North Carolina, and Opal Glaspier (Johnny) of North Carolina.
Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other wonderful family and Friends.
Along with her parents, Charlotte is preceded in death by 5 siblings, Catherine Losh, Patricia Sprouse, Jack Jenkins, James Langford, and Allen Langford.
Charlotte’s request for cremation has been honored and a celebration of her life will be conducted later in June of 2025.
