Colby Lee Pritt age 10 of Troy, WV; departed this life suddenly on the morning of Wednesday, November 23, 2016 as a result of an accidental firearm discharge. Born June 9, 2006 in Lewis County, Colby was the son of Charles E. Pritt of Troy, and Stacey Bright of Clarksburg.
Colby was a 5th grader at the Leading Creek Elementary School in Linn. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, attending Sand Fork Baptist Church youth functions, fishing, Four Square, playing ball, and video games.
Surviving are 2 brothers, Nicholas and Shawn Pritt of Troy, 1 haft brother, Kolman Parker of Weston, 3 step-sisters, Destiny Nayo, Whitney Parmer, and Makenzie Parmer, all of Troy, Paternal Grandparents, Coy Pritt Jr. of Troy, and Patrilla Murray of Ohio, and Maternal Grandparents, Dave and Kathy Dent of Edgewater, MD; and his step-mother, Tiffany Parmer of Troy.
Colby is also survived by a host of other family members and friends who love, miss, and will never forget his smiling face.
Funeral Services will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc. 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV; 26351, at 1:00 PM; Friday December 2, 2016. Following services Colby will be cremated and the family will have a private burial at a later date. Friends and family will be received from 11-1 Friday morning at the mortuary.
