Jeffrey Keith "Jeff" Ball

Jeffrey Keith “Jeff” Ball, 53 of Tanner, WV; departed this earthly life on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at the WVU Medicine Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV; following a brief illness.

He was born May 20, 1969 in Grantsville, WV; son of Charlotte Simmons Wilson of Clarksburg, WV; and Wilber Lee Ball and wife Vivian of Tanner.

Jeff worked as a heavy equipment operator in the oil and gas industry for many years having worked for numerous companies during his time in the oilfields. In his spare time Jeff enjoyed hunting, farming, ATV riding, working with horses, and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are 3 sisters, Brenda Heldreth and husband Scott of Clarksburg, Katina Smarr and husband John of Dusk Camp, and Laurie Crouch and fiancée Dave Waddell of Tanner.

Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, cousin and many other wonderful family and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc., 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV; 26351 at 1:00 PM; Tuesday, June 21, 2022 with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating. Burial will follow in the Meadow Lane Cemetery on WV Hwy 5 West of Glenville. Friends will be received from 11:00-1:00 Tuesday at the mortuary in Glenville.
