David M. Furr

David M. Furr of Glenville, WV departed this life at 7:15 a.m., Sunday, October 23, 2022 at the Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital in Weston, WV.

David was born January 30, 1954, a son of the late Hobert M. Furr and Matilda Joy Lorentz Furr.

David was a member of the Little Kanawha Drive Independent Church and a graduate of Belpre High School Class of 1972.  His hobbies were crossword puzzles, double solitaire, bingo and Sudoku.  He was a people person who loved his friends and joking with them.  He never met a stranger.

He is survived by his sister, Donna Knuckles (Rickey) of Vilonia, Arkansas and several cousins.

The funeral service will be held Ellyson Mortuary, Inc., at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 28, 2022 with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating, burial will follow in the Cooper Cemetery, at Jessie Run, Tanner.  Friends and family may call 1:00-2:00 p.m. October 28, at the Mortuary.
