Rachel M. Remele

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rachel M. Remele, 36, of Fairdale, WV, who died Sunday, April 5, 2025, of a pulmonary embolism.

Rachel was a graduate of Gilmer County High School (2007) and Glenville State College (2009) before going on to earn her Master’s in Forensic Psychology at Argosy University (2014). She dedicated her career to working with at-risk youth, fulfilling a lifelong dream.

A true angel on Earth, Rachel was fiercely devoted to both family and friends and touched the heart and soul of everyone she met. She enjoyed reading, travelling, and spending time with her beloved dogs, Jazz and Nova. Her smile and laugh will be dearly missed.

Rachel loved llamas; it was her fairytale dream to have a llama farm. We will always look for the llamas and remember her. Save the drama for your llama, be a no-drama llama, live life like a llama, and remember, you are llama-azing!

She is survived by her mother, Donna Roberts (Tommy), her twin brother Christopher Remele (Kalah), sister Amanda Lamb, stepsister Hunter Roberts, grandparents Ken and Judi Connell, grandfather Bill LaSalata, aunts Sheri Goff (Jeff), Ronni Facemire (Brian), and Donna Kramer (Mare) as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Remele, grandmother, Judy LaSalata, and cherished dog, Loki.

Rachels request for cremation has been honored and a celebration of her life will be conducted at a later date.
