Dolly McHenry Meador age 78 of Glenville, WV; departed this life on Monday Afternoon, September 5, 2016 at the Braxton County Memorial Hospital in Gassaway, WV; following an extended illness.
Born September 13, 1937 in Gilmer County, Dolly was the daughter of the late Sylvia Conrad.
Dolly was a Deli employee for Kroger in Roanoke, VA; where she retired with over 20 years experience. Dolly enjoyed working in her yard and garden, she also enjoyed going to flea markets and yard sales.
Dolly was also a Christian by faith.
Surviving are 2 children, Connie Hardman and husband Alan of Burnsville, WV; and Ronald “Ronnie” McHenry and wife Dawn of Glenville, Family friend who Dolly raised as a son, Lonnie Gillespie of Jane Lew, WV; and 2 sibling, Leonard Conrad of Glenville and Aunt Edibelle of Virginia.
Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, Jason McHenry, Brittany McHenry, Rondell Stump, and Josh Stump, and 3 great grandchildren, Harlee McHenry, Natalee McHenry and Bryson Gregory.
Along with her mother, Dolly was preceded in death by 5 siblings, Harold, Rhueal, Stacy and Gerald Conrad, and Sue Bosley.
Funeral Services will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc; 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV; 26351 at 11:00 AM; Saturday September 10, 2016 with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating. Burial will follow in the Hiney Cemetery in Linn, WV. Friends will be received from 4-8 PM; Friday evening at the mortuary.
