Barbara Michelle Hess age 38 of Glenville, WV; departed this life on Monday afternoon October 31, 2016 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV; following a short illness.
Born December 26, 1977 in Grantsville, WV; Barbara was the daughter of the late Dale and Mary Perkins Hess.
Barbara was a homemaker who enjoyed traveling, listening to music, spending time with family and friends, and caring for her dogs, Tyson and Raven. She was a Christian by faith and a graduate of Gilmer County High School, class of 1997.
Surviving is her fiancée of 5 years Tyler Peters of Glenville and 8 siblings, Tammy Mayo (John) of Nebraska, Martin Hess (Melissa) of Sand Fork, Mike Hess (Debra) of Cedarville, Jerry Hess (Amy) of Sand Fork, Terry Hess (Becki) of Glenville, Billy Hess (Delores) of Cedarville, Kevin Hess (Debbie) of Glenville, and Jamie Hess (Bobbi Jo) of Cedarville.
Also surviving are 27 nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins.
Funeral Services will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc; 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV; 26351 at 1:00 PM; Saturday, November 5, 2016 with Pastor Bryan Groves and Rev. Kenny Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in the Rhoades Cemetery near Glenville. Friends and family will be received from 11-1 Saturday morning at the mortuary.
