Douglas Ray Hardman age 59 of Tanner, WV; departed this life suddenly on the evening of Wednesday, November 16, 2016 as a result of a motorcycle accident.
Born January 3, 1957 in Richmond, VA; Doug was the son of the late Paul and Ernestine Hall Hardman.
Doug was a carpenter in the construction industry, and a graduate of Randolph County High School, class of 1976. In his spare time Doug enjoyed spending time with family and friends, working, building things, and helping people.
Surviving are 4 children, Brandy Hardman and companion Mark Wells of Buckhannon, Bryan Hardman and companion Amanda Fitzpatrick of Buckhannon, Tony Hardman and companion Bridgette Campbell of Buckhannon, and Josh Hardman of Tanner.
Also surviving are 2 sisters, Debbie Shiflet and husband Phil of Normantown and Tena Jones of Stouts Mills, 9 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and his former wife, Tammi Hardman of Tanner.
The family’s request for Doug to be cremated has been honored and their will be a memorial service at a later date.
Ellyson Mortuary Inc. is assisting the family of Douglas Ray Hardman with arrangements.
