Sandra Clevenger age 67 of Leather Bark Run Road, Cedarville, departed this life on Sunday February 5, 2017 at the Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital in Weston, following an extended illness.
Born May 3, 1949 in Gilmer County, Sandra was the daughter of the late Orval and Evalee Carder Gregory.
Sandra was a homemaker who loved caring for her family, spoiling her grandchildren whenever possible and enjoying the quiet life in Gilmer County. In her spare time, Sandra enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley, working with her crafts, playing corn hole, and listening to her husband Donald sing.
On July 9, 1966, Sandra was united in marriage to Donald Clevenger, who survives at their Leather Bark home.
Surviving are 2 children, Donald Clevenger Jr. of Cedarville and Cynthia Lents and husband David also of Cedarville and 4 siblings, Phyllis Coe and husband Donnie of Spencer, Pamela Wilhelm of Elyria, OH; Raymond Gregory and wife Janice of Jane Lew, and Allen Gregory and wife Diane of Elyria, OH.
Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, Corey Clevenger and wife Susanah of Florida, Kayla Clevenger of Arkansas, Jeffrey Lents and wife Heather of California, and Becki Lents of Cedarville, 2 great grandchildren, Bryce Lents and Willow Berry, and a host of other family members.
Along with her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by 1 infant daughter, Tina Marie Clevenger, and 5 siblings, Leon Gregory, Delores Fisher, Sue Ellyson, Janice Clouser, and Randy Gregory.
Sandra request for cremation has been honored and the family will have a memorial service in the summer of 2017.
