Eloise Wolfe
March 13, 1922 - March 22, 2017
Eloise Wolfe, 95, of Glenville, WV; departed this life, Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the Genesis Health Care Glenville Center following an extended illness. Born March 13, 1922, in Glenville, Eloise was the youngest daughter of the late Granville and Minnie Hardman Wolfe.
Eloise grew up in Glenville and graduated from Glenville High School. She earned her undergraduate degree in education from Glenville State College and her M. A. at Vanderbilt Peabody College in TN. She was an elementary school teacher in Gilmer, Jefferson, Wood, and Kanawha counties.
She is survived by nephew, Barry Wolfe and family of Atlanta, GA; Niece Ellen Constanza and family of Boynton Beach, FL; and several great nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
Along with her parents, Eloise is preceded in death by sisters, Jessie Luzader, Mary Bush, Lucy Killingsworth, Madel Wolfe, and brothers, Frank and Earl Wolfe. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Eloise’s request for cremation has been honored and the family will have private burial at a later date.
