Anna Ruth Fox age 80 of Lynch Run Road, Glenville, WV; departed this life in the early morning hours of Monday, April 10, 2017 at her residence, following an extended illness.
Born July 1, 1936 in Gilmer County, Anna is the daughter of the late Benjamin and Ella Blake Heater.
Anna was a homemaker who enjoyed living the quiet life in Gilmer County. She was a Methodist by faith, who loved working in her flower garden, feeding the birds, listening to country and gospel music, and going each spring and picking wild greens.
On December 3, 2006 Anna was united in marriage to David Fox, who survives at their Lynch Run home.
Surviving are 2 sisters, Shirley Tenney and husband David Lee of Jacksonville, FL; and Francis Dennison of Wellsburg, WV; and her loving dog, Lucky.
Along with her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her first husband Randall Clemons, 2 infant children Connie D. and James R. Clemons and 5 brothers, John, Luther, Ivan, Walter, and Roy Heater.
Funeral Services will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc; 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV; 26351, at 1:00 PM; Friday, April 14, 2017 with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating. Burial will follow in the Little Kanawha Memorial Gardens in Heaters, WV. Friends will be received from 11-1 PM; Friday at the mortuary.
