Agnes Lucille Keith age 82 of Sand Fork, WV; departed this life on the evening of April 10, 2017 at the United Hospital Center, Bridgeport, WV; following an extended illness.
Born on February 2, 1935 near Sand Fork, Agnes is the daughter of the late Charlie and Arnetta Conrad Thompson.
Agnes was a retired food service worker for Glenville State College and she was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Sand Fork. In her spare time, Agnes loved to serve to Lord, cook for her family and friends , watch Jimmy Swaggart on TV, talking to friends and family on the phone, lending a listening ear to anyone that needed it, and caring for her daughter, granddaughters, and great-grandchildren.
On her death bed, Agnes said this “If I live I’m a winner or if I die I’m a winner, either way I’m a winner”.
On August 13, 1951 Agnes was united in marriage to Lawrence W. Keith. They celebrated 60 years of marriage before his passing on August 21, 2011.
Surviving is 1 daughter, Linda Feigenbaum of Columbus, OH; 2 granddaughters, Shannon and Shianne Feigenbaum both of Columbus, OH; and 3 great-grandchildren, Devon Feigenbaum, Austin Kehl, and Schyler Kretzer, all of Columbus, OH.
Also surviving is 1 sister, Ruth Elswick of Youngstown, OH; and a host of other family members.
Along with her parents and husband, Agnes was preceded in death by 1 infant daughter, Linda K. Keith, and 2 brothers Russell and Roy Lee Thompson.
Funeral Services will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc; 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV; 26351 at 11:00 AM; Tuesday, April 18, 2017 with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating. Burial will follow in the Hiney Cemetery, near Linn, WV. Follow services, a dinner is being prepared in Agnes’s honor at the Church of God of Prophecy in Sand Fork. All are welcome to attend and share in food and fellowship. Friends will be received from 5-8 PM; Monday, April 17, 2017 at the mortuary.
