Kenneth Neal Minney age 61 of Ravenswood, WV; departed this life suddenly on the evening of Tuesday April 25, 2017 at his residence.
Born September 29, 1955 in Gilmer County, WV; Kenneth is the son of the late Clark and Midge Boggs Minney.
Kenneth was a graduate of Gilmer County High School, class of 1973, and worked in the oil and gas industry for Dowell and Stalnaker Energy. In his spare time, Kenneth enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, hunting, spending time outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving is his soul mate and life partner, Jayme Carte of Ravenwood, 4 sisters, Sharon Minney of Elyria, OH; Darlene Greathouse (Steve) of Cox’s Mills, WV; Shelia Hamric (Tom) of Sand Fork, WV; and Christine Kuepfer (Mike) of Grafton, OH; 4 nieces, Michelle Gum, Jennifer Fallo, Heather Schwedt, and Hannah Kuepfer, and 1 nephew, Kyle Kuepfer.
Along with his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by 1 sister, Glenda Martz.
Kenneth’s request for cremation has been honored and the family will have a Celebration of Life in his honor at a later date.
