Dina Lea Frederick Bush of Cox’s Mills passed away at the age of 56 on June 27, 2017 after battling Rapid Progression Dementia. Born on July 9, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Sarah Hathaway Frederick and late Denzil Frederick. Dina was a graduate of Gilmer County High School and Glenville State College. She married the love of her life, Gary Bush, on December 23, 1978 and celebrated more than 38 years of adventurous marriage together.

Loved by all who knew her, Dina was independent and fearless. Her life revolved around her family and over the years she served in many volunteer roles within the community, her most cherished being a 4H Leader. Her hobbies included quilting, sewing, reading, and being “Mamaw” spoiling her grandsons.

Dina is survived by her husband and life-long love, Gary Bush of Cox’s Mills; daughter Deanna Palmer and her husband Steve of Weston; daughter Jordain Bush of Glenville; grandsons Wesley and Maxwell Palmer who were the lights of her life; brother Dana Frederick and his wife Mikki of Cox’s Mills; and nephews Jared and Aaron. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her infant daughter Gina Marie Bush and brother Spec. Darren Lee Frederick, a Persian Gulf War Veteran.

Dina will be dearly missed! Funeral services will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc, 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV 26351 (ellysonmortuary.com) with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating. Family & friends are invited from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Saturday July 1, 2017. Funeral services be 1:00pm with burial following at the Alice Cemetery in Cox’s Mills.
