Marzanna June Parsons age 79 of Glenville, WV departed this life at 1:30 PM; Friday September 08, 2017 at the Genesis Health Care, Glenville Center following an extended illness.
Born March 17, 1938 in Gilmer County, WV, Marzanna is the daughter of the late Thomas and Genevieve Posy Parsons.
Marzanna was a homemaker who enjoyed living the quiet life in Gilmer County. In her spare time , she enjoyed walking, tending to her flowers, playing board games, and working crossword puzzles.
Marazanna is survived by her loving brother, James Parsons of Linn, WV and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends. She is also survived by her loving dog and faithful companion Fido.
Along with her parents, Marzanna is preceded in death by 2 siblings, Betty Dennison and Clyde Parsons.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc, 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV 26351 at 2:00 PM; Sunday September 17, 2017 with Pastor Lloyd Stewart officiating.
Burial of Marzanna’s ashes will follow in the Borland Cemetery near Copely, WV.
Friends will be received from 1-2 PM; Sunday afternoon at the mortuary.
