Obituaries

Christopher Elliott Moore, 36 of Glenville, WV formerly of Buckhannon, WV departed this life suddenly in the early morning hours of Sunday, October 15, 2017 at his residence. Born August 29, 1981 in Braxton County, Chris is the son of Ramona Hamrick Moore-King of Glenville and the late Eugene E. Moore who preceded Chris in death on February 9, 2011.
Chris was a Unicoil Lineman for Flying W Plastics with 10 years experience, and he also had work experience with MEC Construction as a laborer and ground hand. In his spare time, Chris enjoyed listening to music, import cars, and working with guns. Chris was also a very proud uncle, who loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, and all the rest of his family.
Along with his mother, Chris is survived by brother, Jonathan E. Moore and wife Lynette of Glenville, sister, Brandy E. Moore of Buckhannon, step-brother, William “Mac” Author Moore Harris and wife Shannon of Pennsylvania and his maternal Grandmother, Oleta Clutter of Sutton.
Chris is also survived by nieces, Tia Lei Moore and Emberlee Moore, nephews, Corly Moore, Zander Harris, and William Alden Rollyson and Uncle, Larry Green and wife Barbara of Sutton.
Along with his father, Chris is preceded in death by his nephew Creedence Jayce Moore, step-grandfather, John Lester, and paternal grandparents, Nora Lester and William “Bill” Moore.
Funeral Services will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV 26351 at 1:00 PM, Saturday October 21, 2017 with Rev. Martin Wine officiating. Burial will follow in the Braxton County Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Flatwoods, WV. Friends will be received from 11-1 PM Saturday morning at the mortuary.
