Casey Roy Adams age 34 of Grass Run Road, Normantown, WV departed this life at 6:03 PM Monday, October 23, 2017 at his residence with his loving mother by his side. Born December 18, 1982 in Weston, Casey is the son of Margie Shook of Grass Run and the late Bernard Lee Adams, who departed this life on December 5, 1994.
Casey was a very happy young man who loved people. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his friends at the Summit Center in Glenville, eating at restaurants, and hanging out with his family.
Along with his mother, Casey is survived by his brother, Matthew Adams and wife Rachel of Cedar Creek, 2 step-brothers, Toby Shook of Stonewood and Mike Shook of Morgantown. Also surviving are 7 nieces and nephews, who Casey loved dearly.
Along with his father, Casey is preceded in death by his step-father, Harold L. Shook Jr. Paternal grandparents, Roy and Vera Adams, maternal grandparents, Edward and Ivy Miller, uncles, Mike Adams and Homer Rogers.
Funeral Services will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV 26351 at 1:00 PM Friday, October 27, 2017 with Pastor Roger Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the Collins Community Cemetery in Stumptown. Friends will be received from 11-1 Friday at the mortuary.
In Lieu of flowers the family of Casey Roy Adams, request memorial contributions be made to the Ronald McDonald House foundation in his honor.
