Donna Lou Duelley
October 19, 1965 - July 3, 2018
Donna Lou Duelley age 52 of Grass Run Road, Normantown WV, departed this life at 12:17 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Charleston, WV following an extended illness.
She was born on October 19, 1965 in Gassaway WV, daughter of the late Paul and Virginia Burns Jenkins.
Donna was a graduate of Gilmer County High School, class of 1983. She also attended Beauty College in Parkersburg, worked as a clerk for U-Pak for several years, and was a homemaker who loved caring for her family. In her spare time, Donna enjoyed gardening, and living the quiet life on Grass Run.
On July 1, 1985 Donna was united in marriage to Carl Duelley, who survives at their Grass Run home.
Surviving are 2 children, Adrian Duelley (Brittany) of Glenville, and Ian Duelley of Normantown; 1 granddaughter, Meadow Grace Marks of Glenville; and 6 siblings, Marilyn Carpenter (Curt) of Gassaway, Jeanne Davison of Normantown, Paula Smith (Jack) of Perkins, Debbie Hitt (Joe) of Cox’s Mills, Larry Jenkins (Lise) of Glenville, and Alice Wylde (David) of England, Great, Britain.
Donna is also survived by numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
Along with her parents, Donna is preceded in death by 1 sister, Sue Kocher.
Donna’s request for cremation has been honored and the family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
