Vivian C. Jarvis age 59 of Tanner, WV departed this life on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at her residence in Tanner following a short illness.
She was born April 5, 1961 in Gassaway, WV daughter of the late Percy Jarvis and Anne Dobbins Greenlief.
Vivian was a homemaker who loved living the quiet life at her home in Tanner. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, making quilts, tending to her flower garden, baking, caring for her pets, and helping anyone who needed it.
Surviving is her long term companion, Richard “Rick” Bailey of Tanner, 2 sons, Jesse Allen Jordan of Rosedale, WV; and Shawn Wesley Jarvis of Sutton, WV, and 4 siblings, Mildred Jenkins of Cambridge, OH; Hazel Cobb of Tioga, WV; Dave Jarvis of OH; and Bobby Greenlief of Rosedale.
Also surviving are a host of other wonderful family and friends.
Along with her parents, Vivian is preceded in death by a brother, Lester and numerous other family members.
A funeral service will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc. at 3:00 PM; Monday, August 31, 2020 with Chaplin Rick Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Sugar Creek Cemetery in Braxton County. Friends will be received from 2:30-3:00 PM; Monday afternoon at the mortuary in Glenville.
In lieu of flowers the family request donation be made directly to Ellyson Mortuary, Inc. 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV 26351 to aid in final expenses.
