Brenda Darlene Miller 60 of Sand Fork, WV departed this life suddenly in the afternoon hours of Thursday, October 29, 2020 at the Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital in Weston WV.
She was born March 28, 1960 in Glenville, WV; daughter of the late Deward and Myrtle Langford Hardman.
Darlene is a graduate of Elyria West High School in Elyria, OH; class of 1978. She is a former employee of the Summit Center in Glenville and worked at a child supervisor. In her spare time, she enjoyed collecting pearls and dream catchers, spoiling her grandchildren, and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are 4 children, Dione Hardman of Glenville, Jimmie Hardman of Sand Fork, Curtis Riggs of Glenville, and Kisha Phares (Alex) of Cedarville, WV; and 8 grandchildren, Bryan Shackleford, Ryan Shackleford, Drayden Shackleford, Caleb Shackleford, Willow Shackleford and Merica Boyers, all of Linn, WV, Raven Phares of Cedarville, WV; and Rhoen Riggs of Akron, OH.
Also surviving are 5 siblings, Alan Hardman (Connie) of Burnsville, WV; Rosa White of Glenville, Lillian Gidley of Buckhannon, WV; Deward Hardman Jr. (Diane of LaGrange, OH; Kenneth Hardman (Joan of Ripley, WV; and Michael Hardman (Edie) of Portland, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other wonderful family and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary and Cremation Services, Inc. 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV 26351 at 11:00 AM; Friday, November 6, 2020 with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating. Burial will follow in the White Cemetery on Spruce Run Road. Friends and family will be received from 5:00 – 7:00 PM; Thursday evening at the mortuary in Glenville.
