Oliver F. Mosser
November 17, 1927 - December 18, 2020
Oliver F. Mosser age 93 of Clarksburg, WV formerly of Weston, WV departed this life on Friday, December 18, 2020 at the West Virginia Veterans Nursing Facility in Clarksburg, following an extended illness.
He was born November 17, 1927 in Hampshire County, WV; son of the late Charles and Edna Sauerbaugh Mosser.
Oliver is a veteran of the United States Navy and worked for the Washington, D.C. Sanitation Department as a supervisor.
On August 25, 1955 he was united in marriage to Susie Irene Mosser who preceded him in death on May 13, 2009.
Surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friend, Tom Virden of Weston.
Along with his wife and parents, Oliver is preceded in death by 4 siblings, Oscar and George Mosser, Anna Beach, and Eva McNaughton.
Oliver’s request for cremation has been honored and his ashes will be laid to rest beside his wife Susie in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Normantown, WV at a later date.
