Cathern Lucille Losh, 77 of Glenville, WV; departed this earthly life on Monday, December 13, 2021 at the Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital in Weston, WV following a short illness.
She was born May 1, 1944 in Gilmer County, WV; daughter of the late Gerald and Floda Jenkins Langford.
Cathern was a homemaker and a residential house cleaner. In her spare time, Cathern enjoyed going to yard sales, cooking, spending time with family and friends, and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whenever possible.
Surviving are 4 children, Allen Rush of Glenville, Sandra Kay Jenkins and husband Roy of Glenville, Roger Dale Rush and wife Denise of Fredericksburg, VA; and Robert Rush and wife Heather of Bland, VA; and 4 siblings, Jessie Langford (Carol) of North Carolina, James Langford (Diana) of Stumptown, WV; Charlotte Lattea of Glenville, and Opal Glaspier (Johnny) of North Carolina,
Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other wonderful family and friends.
Along with her parents, Cathern is preceded in death by a son, Charles Lee Rush, and 3 siblings, Patricia Sprouse, Jack Jenkins, and Allen Langford.
A funeral service will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc., 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV 26351 at 2:00 PM; Friday, December 17, 2021 with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating. Following services, Cathern’s request for cremation will be honored. Friends will be received from 12:00 noon -2:00 PM; Friday at the mortuary in Glenville.
