Susan C. “Susie’ Williams, 69, of Glenville, WV (Baldwin Community) departed this earthly life in the early morning hours of Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital in Weston, WV; following an extended illness.

She was born May 9, 1952 in Weston, WV; daughter of the late June A. and Viona Groves Skinner.

Susie is a graduate of Gilmer County High School, Class of 1970. She was a former employee of Kinney Shoe Factory in Glenville and a clerk for the community market. Susie was active in the 4H Club, enjoyed cheering for all the local sports teams, playing bingo, spending time with family and friends, and spoiling her grandchildren whenever possible.

Susie is a Methodist by faith and longtime member of the Baldwin Oak Grove United Methodist Church.

On August 8, 1976 Susie was united in marriage to Ronnie Williams, who survives at their Baldwin Home.

Surviving are 2 children, Tracy Williams of Glenville, and Ashley Williams Cline of Steubenville, OH; 1 step-daughter, Rhonda Hess of Glenville, 2 grandchildren, Logan and Emily Cline of Steubenville, 2 brothers, Doug Skinner (Debbie) of Baldwin, and David Skinner (Alice) of Bridgeport, WV; and her loving dog, Jasper.

Also surviving are 3 step-grandchildren, 5 step great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other wonderful family and friends.

Along with her parents, Susie is preceded in death by an infant brother, Danny Skinner.

A funeral service will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc., 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV; 26351 at 11:00 AM; Saturday, January 1, 2022 with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating. Burial will follow in the Meadow Lane Cemetery. Friends will be received from 5-8 PM; Friday evening at the mortuary in Glenville.
