Carolyn Sue “Susie” Luzader, 77, of Glenville, WV; departed this earthly life in the evening hours of Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at her residence with her loving family by her side.
She was born November 3, 1944 in Harrison County, WV; daughter of the late Raymond and Alta Bush Davis.
Susie was an equipment operator, laborer, and flagger for the Department of Highways and attended Sunday services Little Kanawha Independent Church in Burnsville. She is a Christian by faith and in her spare time, Susie enjoyed spending time with family and friends, caring for her loved ones anytime she was needed, tending to her flower garden, working with horses and pack mules, and caring for her cats and dogs.
On April 17, 1999 she was united in marriage to Roger Lee Luzader who survives at their Glenville home.
Surviving are her 2 loving sons, Fred Dennison and wife Wendy of Tooele, UT; and Kevan Dennison of Amarillo, TX; and 2 step-children, Jessica Ramsey and husband Jason of Burnsville, WV; and Bryan Luzader of Charleston, WV; and a special niece, Diane Rine of Ohio.
Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other wonderful family and friends.
Along with her parents, Susie is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Ruth Anne Simmons and Sharon Mortinsen, and 5 brothers, Blair, Donnie, Ralph, Kenny, and Dennis Davis.
A funeral service will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc., 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV; 26351 at 1:00 PM; Saturday, April 2, 2022 with Rev Ronzel Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Sand Fork Cemetery in Sand Fork, WV. Friends will be received from 11:00 – 1:00 Saturday at the mortuary in Glenville.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to the West Virginia Caring Hospice in honor of Susie.
