Linn Dorsie Meadows, 71 of Normantown, WV; departed this earthly life in the afternoon hours of Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at the Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital in Weston, WV; following an extended illness.
He was born September 16, 1950 in Normantown, WV; son of the late Dorsie and Clara Yeager Meadows.
Linn worked as a truck driver in the oil and gas industry and in his spare time he enjoyed listening to NASCAR and gardening.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Stephanie Frymier of Glenville, Laura Self and husband Justin of Glenville, and Sonja Hartshorn and husband Andrew of Shock, WV; and 7 siblings, Ernie Meadows, James Meadows, Virgil Meadows and wife Darlene, Kenneth “Tommy” Meadows and wife Shirley, Bernard Meadows and wife Margie, Debbie Stewart, and Richard Meadows and wife Julie.
Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other wonderful family and friends.
Linn’s request for cremation has been honored and a celebration of life will be conducted later in the summer of 2022.
