Donald E. "Don" Harris
December 26, 1954 - May 15, 2022
Donald E. “Don” Harris, 67 of Glenville, WV; departed this earthly life in the early morning hours of Sunday, May 15, 2022 at the Genesis Health Care, Glenville Center following a brief illness.
He was born December 26, 1954 in Flint, MI; son of the late Albert and Anna Kowalski Harris.
Don is a graduate of Vassar Senior High School, Class of 1973 in Vassar, MI; and worked in the restaurant industry as a Chef. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting fishing, and collecting Baseball memorabilia.
On March 28, 2002 Don was united in marriage to Charlene Hill Harris, who survives at their Glenville home.
Surviving are 3 sons, Gordie Harris (Sarah), Joshua Harris (Patti), and Steven Huffman, 7 siblings, Alberta Hess, Rosetta Abbott, Sharon Case, and Ron, David, Albert and Delbert Harris.
Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other wonderful family and friends in West Virginia and Michigan.
Along with his parents, Don is preceded in death by a brother, Frank Harris.
Don’s request for cremation has been honored and a celebration of his life will be conducted at a later date in Michigan.
