Dana Paul Persinger
February 17, 1956 - May 18, 2022
Dana Paul Persinger, 66 of Linn, WV; departed this earthly life in the morning hours of Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at his residence following a brief illness.
He was born February 17, 1956 in Weston WV; son of Mary Freeman Kelly of Sand Fork, WV; and Claude Persinger of Oakland, MD.
Dana enjoyed working with and riding horses, watching westerns on TV, and spending time with family and friends, and living the quiet life in West Virginia.
Dana was united in marriage to Randi Davis Persinger, who survives at their home in Linn.
Along with his wife and parents, Dana is survived by 3 children, Brian Persinger (Rose) of Parkersburg, WV; Michelle Hickman of Camden, WV; and Dana Paul Persinger Jr. of West Union, WV; 4 brothers, Jim Persinger, Charles Persinger, Jerry Persinger, and Tom Kelly, Uncle, Phil Persinger (Pat) whom Dana was always close too, his step-sister Etta, and several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other wonderful family and friends.
Along with his father, Dana is preceded in death by his son, Nathan Persinger.
Dana’s request for cremation has been honored and a celebration of his life will be conducted at a later date.
