Norma Jean Nolan, 87 of Newton Falls, Ohio, departed this earthly life on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at her residence in Ohio.
She was born February 26, 1935 in Gilmer County, WV; daughter of the late Alfred and Martha Grogg Moore.
Jean was a homemaker who loved caring for her family. She is a Baptist by faith and enjoyed playing bingo, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and spoiling her granddaughter and great-grandsons whenever possible.
Surviving are 2 children, Gail Humble and Rick Nolan, both of Newton Falls, OH; 2 siblings, Lenora Huff (Jesse) of Camden, WV; and Kay Moore of Glenville, a granddaughter, Stephanie Urey (Cody) of Sharon, PA; and 2 great-grandsons, Cash and Wakefield.
Along with her parents, Jean is preceded in death by her husband, James Nolan who passed in 2004, 6 brothers, Eugene Grogg, Ray, William, Bob, Jim, and Harry Moore, and 2 sisters, Mary Ferguson and Edna Kemper.
A graveside service will be conducted at the Meadows Cemetery near Glenville, WV; at 11:00 AM; Wednesday, June 15, 2022 with Pastor Kenny Fisher officiating.
