Carolyn Ann Thompson, 81 of Cedarville, WV; departed this earthly life in the morning hours of Thursday, October 13, 2022 at the WV Caring Hospice House in Elkins, WV; following an extended illness.
She was born August 30, 1941 in Cedarville, WV; daughter of the late Jessie Wilmoth.
Carolyn was a homemaker who loved caring for her family. She was skilled at sign language, and enjoyed watching soap operas and westerns on TV, spending time with family and friends, and spoiling her grandchildren whenever possible.
Surviving are 2 children, Earl Thompson of Cedarville, and Jackie Thompson of Glenville, and 3 grandchildren, Elexis Thompson of Hornbeak, TN and Courtni and Michael Thompson of Cedarville.
Along with her mother, Carolyn is preceded in death by 2 siblings, Euelia Thompson and Robert Woodyard, and long term companion John C. Seres.
A visitation will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc., 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV 26351 from 11:00 – 1:00 Tuesday, October 18, 2022 with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating. Burial will follow immediately in the Thompson Family Cemetery near Cedarville, WV.
