Robert R. "Bob" Bonnett

Robert R. ”Bob” Bonnett, 68 of Burnsville, WV departed this earthly life in the afternoon hours of Thursday, January 5, 2023 at the Stonerise Nursing Facility in Clarksburg, WV; following an extended illness.
He was born April 7, 1954 in Gilmer County, son of the late Harold and Alma Richards Bonnett.
Bob is a graduate of Gilmer County High School, class of 1972 and worked numerous jobs around Gilmer and the surrounding counties for many years. In his spare time, Bob enjoyed playing and singing music, and he was an avid fisherman for many years.
On September 15, 1991 Bob was united in marriage to Mildred “Milly” Ware Bonnett, who survives at their Burnsville home.
Surviving is his loving daughter, Bobbi Morgan (Mark) of Orlando, WV; and 2grandchildren, Hannah and Ezra Morgan also of Orlando.
Also surviving is a brother Jimmy R. Bonnett (Karen) of Exchange, WV; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many other wonderful family and friends.
Along with his parents, Bob is preceded in death by 2 siblings, Oleta May Bonnett and Harold Bonnett Jr., 3 half-brothers, William, Charles, and Cecil, and 3 half-sisters, Maxine, Noreen, and Willadean.
A graveside service will be conducted at the Hiney Cemetery in Linn, WV at 2:00 PM; Tuesday, January 10, 2023 with Rev. Martin Wine officiating and burial to follow.
