Orville “Jack” Frymier, 78 of Tanner, WV; departed this earthly life in the morning hours of Wednesday, February 1, 2022 at the Louis A. Johnson Medical Center in Clarksburg, WV; following an extended illness.
He was born October 4, 1944 in Tanner, WV; son of the late Paris R. and Gladys A. Newlon Frymier.
Jack is a graduate of Tanner High School, a United States Army veteran, and he worked as a heavy equipment operator in the oil and gas and pipelining industries. He worked several years for Stalnaker Energy and traveled the country working on pipelines. In his spare time, Jack enjoyed racing cars watching sports on TV, and spending time with family and friends.
On November 2, 1968 Jack was united in marriage to Roseanne Duelly Frymier, who survives at their home in Tanner.
Surviving is a son, Johnathan Frymier of Burnt House, WV; and special step-daughter, Joyce Hamric Stump and (Dan) of Glenville, 4 grandchildren, Aaron M. Frymier (Alicia) of Burnsville, Stormee Frymier of Buckhannon, WV; Lauryn Suthard (Richard) and Julie Frymier both of Virginia, and 1 great-granddaughter, Ellie Paige Suthard of Virginia.
Also surviving are 2 sisters, Rita Stewart of Jane Lew, WV; and Merceline Bennett of Tanner, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many other wonderful family and friends.
Along with his parents, Jack is preceded in death by his son, Robert Aaron “Buck” Frymier, and 5 siblings, Carolyn Amos, Robert “Bob” Frymier, William Frymier, Elaine Perrin, and Maxine Gumm.
Jacks request for cremation has been honored and the family will have a celebration of his life at a late date.
