Tressie Gaye Ramsch, 89 of Glenville, WV; (Baldwin Community) departed this earthly life in the morning hours of Monday, February 6, 2023 at her residence in Baldwin, following an extended illness.
She was born August 3, 1933 in Normantown, WV; daughter of the late Okie and Luverna (Stump) Frame.
Tressie is a member of the First Baptist Church of Glenville and was a homemaker who provided daycare for children for several years of her life. In her spare time, Tressie enjoyed the Lord, gospel music, bird watching (especially hummingbirds in the summer), gardening, canning, sewing, and spending time with family and friends.
In 1962 Tressie was united in marriage to Clyde Ramsch who preceded her in death on April 6, 1971
Surviving is a son, Daniel Ramsch of Baldwin, and a sister, Biddie M. Love of Buckhannon.
Also surviving is a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and many other wonderful family and friends.
Along with her husband and parents, Tressie is preceded in death by a step son, Fred Ramsch, and 5 siblings, William Dale Frame, Luther E. “Doc” Frame, Dewey Smith Frame, Earle Daniel Frame, and Gail Frame.
A funeral service will be conducted at the Glenville First Baptist Church, 217 East Main St; Glenville, WV; 26351 at 1:00 PM; Saturday, February 11, 2023 with Pastor John Putnam officiating. Burial will follow in the Crooked Fork Baptist Church Cemetery near Normantown, WV; where her soul is at rest with our Lord Jesus Christ. Friend’s will be received from 11:00 – 1:00 Saturday at the church on Main St.
