Randy Ray Jeffrey
February 23, 1954 - March 6, 2023
Randy Ray Jeffrey, 69 of Weston, WV; formerly of Southwest Florida, departed this earthly life in the early morning hours of Monday, March 6, 2023 at the Genesis Health Care, Glenville Center following an extended illness.
He was born February 23, 1954 in Logan, WV; son of the late Dempsey and Phyllis Glenn Jeffrey.
Randy is a Baptist by faith and attended services at the Grace Baptist Temple in Jane Lew, WV. He worked as a carpenter in construction and was also a long haul truck driver. Randy enjoyed, spending time in the mountains of West Virginia, hunting, fishing, and caring for his dog, Duchess. He wanted everyone to know that Jesus Christ loves them, died on a cross to save them, rose again, and will bring new life to all who believe in Him.
Surviving are 6 children, Samantha Percifield (Allen), Mandy Deering (Jacob), and Logan Jeffrey, all of Florida, and Joby, Jamie, and Justin Jeffrey, all of Ohio, 1 half-brother, Kenny Mounts of Ohio, and 5 grandchildren, Bailey Stier, Makkari Morris, Dasan Deering, Naomi Nickelson, and Arailia Percifield.
Along with his parents, Randy is preceded in death by 3 siblings, Greg Jeffrey, Nick Mounts, and Marilyn Detty.
Randy’s request for cremation has been honored and a celebration of his life will be conducted at a later date.
