Delores Ann Stump, 63 of Sand Fork, WV; departed this earthly life in the mid-afternoon hours of Monday, March 20, 2023 at the Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown, WV; following a brief illness.
She was born October 7, 1959 in Baltimore, MD; daughter of the late Robert and Ellen Losh Stump.
Delores is a graduate of Gilmer County High School, class of 1978 and worked as a home health aide for the Gilmer County Senior Citizens. She is a Pentecostal by faith and in her spare time, Delores enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends, and spoiling her grandchildren whenever possible.
Surviving are 2 sons, Matthew Montgomery and companion Tiffany Postalwait and Jeremy Montgomery both of Tanner, WV; 3 grandchildren, Matthew, Caleb, and Alivia Montgomery of Tanner, WV; and 9 siblings, Robert Stump (Sherri) of Chapel, WV; Roger Stump (Tracy) of Sand Fork, Danny Stump (Melinda) of Sand Fork, Kenny Stump (Renee of Sand Fork, James Stump (Melinda) of Linn, WV; Roberta Moyers of Cedarville, Vicki Rollyson (Bill) of Linn, Nicky Lang of Tanner, and Judy Shaffer of Spencer, WV.
Also surviving is her long term companion, Terry Garton of Gilmer Station, WV; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other wonderful family and friends.
Along with her parents, Delores is preceded in death by a brother, Rondell Stump.
Delores’s request for burial will be honored and a graveside service will be conducted at the McHenry II Cemetery, 3575 Indian Fork Road, Linn, WV 26384 (Sand Fork Community)at 11:00 AM; Thursday, March 23, 2023 with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating.
