Ronzel Boatright
June 23, 1952 - July 9, 2023
Ronzel Boatright, 71 of Mt. Zion, WV; departed this earthly life on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV; following an extended illness.
He was born June 23, 1952 in Calhoun County, son of the late Ray and Leta (Stump) Boatright.
Ronzel spent most of his working life as a pipe liner in the oil and gas industry and in his spare time enjoyed spending time with family and friends, living the quiet life in WV; wood working, tinkering on lawn equipment, and spending time with his dog Loki.
He is survived by his long term companion, Lori Rosenbaum, children, Michael (Nikki) Boatright, Heather (DL) McKown, Jeremy (Ivory) Boatright, his grandchildren: Caleb (Rachelle) Schoolcraft, Darrien McKown, Tea (Brandon) Roseberry, Devan McKown, Mikayla, Kiera & Rylan Boatright. He is also survived by great-grandchildren: Reese, Chase, Brantley & Rayden Schoolcraft, Breelyn McKown & Addison Boatright-Roseberry; his sisters Marie Morrell, Allie Boggs & Velma (Richard) Parsons; and many nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Ronzel is preceded in death by his sister Almeda Starcher, brothers Ronnie & Roland Boatright, nephew, Jason Boatright, and brother-in-law Bill Morrell.
