Obituaries

Megan D. Roberts, 21, of Glenville, WV; departed this earthly life to fly with the angels in heaven on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at her home near Glenville after fulfilling her purpose of sharing the joy of the Lord with everyone she met. Megan returned peacefully to the One who knew her before she was born.

Megan was born May 10, 2002 in Buckhannon, WV; daughter of Jeff and Robin (Foreman) Roberts of Glenville.

Megan is a graduate of Gilmer County High School, class of 2022. She was well known as the greeter at the Cornerstone Café in Glenville and she always loved everyone, was very friendly, she was truly “pure at heart”.

Along with her loving parents, Megan is survived by 5 siblings, Michael Roberts and companion Taylor of Glenville, Stephanie Romeo and husband Aaron of Charlotte, NC; and Joel, Nick, and Maggie Roberts, all of Glenville.

Also surviving are 7 nieces and nephews, Charlsey Zimmerman and Brennan, Logan, Arya, and Emmett Romeo all of Charlotte, NC; and Cohen and Cameron Roberts of Glenville, Paternal grandma, Ruth Roberts, maternal grandma, Rae Moore, caregivers, Bruce and Judy Smoll, her 2^nd family, John and Pam Moss,

Travis Moss, and Ashley Smith, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other wonderful family and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc., 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV; 26351 at 1:00 PM; Thursday,  August 24, 2023 with Pastor Bill and Pastor Donna Taylor officiating. Following services a meal is being prepared in honor of Megan at the home of Pam Moss on Spruce Run, all are encouraged to come share in food and fellowship. Friends will be received from 11:00 – 1:00 Thursday at the mortuary in Glenville.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to the Children’s Rescue Initiative, 10670 PA-18, Conneaut Lake, PA; 16316 in honor of Megan.
