Charles Collins, 75 of Orlando, WV; (Rocky Fork Community, Gilmer County), departed this earthly life in the early morning hours of Sunday, August 27, 2023 at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born May 3, 1948 in Sand Fork, WV; son of the late Harley and Hazel (Radcliff) Collins.
Charles was a truck driver in the manufacturing industry for many years and in his spare time enjoyed watching wrestling on TV, working with horses, attending horse related events, and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are 4 siblings, Agnes Collins of Orlando, Pauline Grimes of Bristol, WV; Mary Wilfong of Chester, WV; and Kathleen Mick of Portersville, PA.
Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other wonderful family and friends.
Along with his parents, Charles is preceded in death by 8 siblings, Richard, Brooks, Junior, Raymond, Alvin, Michael, and Opal Collins, and Mildred Riffle.
Charles request for cremation has been honored and his ashes will be laid to rest with his parents at a later date.
