Naomi Grace Beall, 90 of Glenville, WV; departed this earthly life in the morning hours of Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at her residence with her loving family by her side.
She was born August 4, 1933 in Gilmer County, WV; daughter of the late Homer and Bessie (Minnich) Langford.
Naomi was a homemaker who loved caring for her family. She worked part time as a Senior Companion through the Gilmer County Senior Citizens and was a Foster Grandmother to younger children for the Gilmer County Board of Education. In her spare time, Naomi enjoyed sewing, embroidery, working with crafts and plastic canvas, spending time with family and friends, and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whenever possible.
On October 27, 1951 Naomi was united in marriage to Clayton Beall, who preceded her in death on August 23, 1992.
Surviving are 3 loving daughters, Cindy Williams and husband Frank of Troy, WV; Sandy Erwin of New Milton, WV; and Lela Radcliff and husband Gary also of New Milton, 4 grandchildren, Clayton Barker and wife Ashley, Mendi Leggett, Susie Hoy and husband Chad, and JR Erwin and wife Annie, and 4 great-grandchildren, Cynthia Barker, Bella Hoy, Blake Erwin, and Ethan Leggett.
Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, many other wonderful family and friends and her special caregiver, Diana Vance.
Along with her parents, and husband, Naomi is preceded in death by a great-grandson, Brantley Hoy, 7 siblings, Melvin Langford, Paul Langford, Maxine Jenkins, Geneva Wolfe, Rosalie Hess, Ruth Greenlief, and baby Lela Langford, and a son-in-law, John Erwin.
A funeral service will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc., 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV; 26351 at 1:00 PM; Saturday, November 18, 2023 with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating. Burial will follow in the Hiney Cemetery near Linn, WV. Friends will be received from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM; Saturday at the mortuary in Glenville.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to WV Caring Hospice or the Gilmer County Senior Center in honor of Naomi.
The family would like to take this opportunity to thank WV Caring Hospice and the Gilmer County Senior Center for all their kindness, companion, love, and support while caring for Naomi over the last several years.
