Julia D. Meadows, 49 of Normantown, WV; departed this earthly life suddenly on the morning of Sunday, February 11, 2024 at her residence with her loving husband, Richard by her side.
She was born April 12, 1974 in Charleston, WV; daughter of James and Diane (Jackson) Facemire of Little Birch, WV.
Julia is a graduate of Elkins High School and spent most of her working life as a sales clerk at Walmart, a cook and Glenville State College, and a caretaker in the home healthcare industry. In her spare time, Julia enjoyed working with crafts, being outdoors, riding ATV’s, tending to her flowers, and spending time with family and friends.
On September 8, 2007 Julia was united in marriage to Richard Meadows, who survives at their Normantown home.
Along with her parents, James and Diane, Julia is survived by 2 siblings, Brandon Facemire of Little Birch, and Karisa Knight and husband Colton of Craigsville, WV.
Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other wonderful family and friends.
Julia is preceded in death by her daughter, Maykala Facemire and her brother, Timothy Facemire.
A graveside service will be conducted at the Rose Hill Cemetery near Birch River, (Nicholas Co.) WV; at 1:00 PM; Friday, February 16, 2024.
