Florence (Flo) Anne Kemper of Newberne, WV; departed this earthly life on Mar 17th, 2024 after a short battle with cancer, surrounded by her family.

She was born in Cuba, New York, on April, 28th 1944, to Rev. Robert & Alta Randolph.

She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family and friends. She was rooted in her faith of our Lord Jesus Christ. She was a loving & caring wife, mother, Sister, grandmother, & great grandmother.

Flo was preceded in death by her parents Rev Robert Randolph and Alta Randolph. Her granddaughter, Elizabeth Grant and great granddaughter Abbigayle Boggs.

She leaves her loving husband of almost 64 years, George David Kemper, children, Penny (Donald) Grant of Franklin VA, Michael (Kimberly) Kemper of Hurricane WV, Robert (Amanda) Kemper of Hurricane, WV, Kembelene (Brian) McGinnis of Harrisville, and Angela Horton of Rogers, AK. Grandchildren: Christopher Grant, Nichole Grant, Sarah Taylor, Michelle Kemper, Emily Ord, Robert Kemper II, Elise Kemper, Lillian Kemper, Joseph Kemper, Jeremiah Kemper, Mahaley Horton, Jesuran Horton, Seth Horton and Abbigail Horton Great grandchildren: Collin Grant, Teigan Grant, Colton Taylor, Reagan Taylor, Laney Edwards, Luna Kemper, Corbin Ord, and a great-grandson, Emmitt Taylor born March 18, 2024.

A funeral service will be conducted at the Newberne Community Church 5165 Newberne Road, Cox’s Mills, WV; 26342 at 11:00 AM; Saturday, March 23, 2024 with Rev. Kevin Eakle officiating. Burial will follow in the Horn Creek Cemetery near Cox’s Mills. Friends will be received at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc., 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV; 26351 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM; Friday evening March 22, 2024 at the Mortuary in Glenville.
