Wilbur Allen Yeager
August 12, 1963 - March 21, 2024
Wilbur Allen Yeager, 60 of Glenville, WV; departed this earthly life in the evening hours of Thursday, March 21, 2024 at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born August 12, 1963 in Weston, WV; son of the late Willard E. and Euna A. (Frame) Yeager.
Wilbur is a long time employee of Flying W Plastics in Glenville having loaded trucks on the Loading Dock for 32 years. In his spare time, Wilbur was an avid hunter and enjoyed raising chickens, spending time with family and friends, and living the quiet life in Gilmer County.
On August 11, 1990 Wilbur was united in marriage to Debbie (Greenlief) Yeager who survives at their Glenville home and will miss him deeply.
Surviving are 2 children, Hannah Yeager and Fiancée Matt Talbert and Colton Yeager of Glenville, 3 grandkids, Jayden, Samuel, and Madeline Talbert all of Glenville, and 2 siblings, Charlotte Yeager of Glenville and Willard E. “Bub” Yeager and companion Donna Farley of Grafton, WV.
Also surviving is his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Greenlief of Glenville, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous other wonderful family and friends.
Wilbur’s request for cremation has been honored and a celebration of life will be conducted later in the summer of 2024.
