Harold Wayne “Peewee” “Bub” Riffle, age 77 of Linn, WV went to be with his Lord and Savior in the afternoon hours of Monday, November 4, 2024 with his loving family by his side.
He was born to the late Winnie and Stanton Riffle on January 2, 1947 in Orlando, WV.
Harold worked as a glass blower for many years for Louie Glass and West Virginia Glass, where he retired in 2002. In his spare time, Harold enjoyed squirrel and deer hunting, attending .22 shooting matches, watching westerns, wrestling, and he had a love for John Deere.
On September 18, 1970 Harold was united in marriage to Mary Louise Riffle who preceded him in death on February 24, 2003.
Surviving Harold is his son Scotty Riffle and wife Nicole, his grandson, Cameron Riffle, and Harold’s companion, Betty Newsome all of Linn, WV. His beloved siblings, Mary “Toots”, Brenda, Linda, Gary, step-children, Jimmy Persinger and wife Pam, Judith Albanese, Cora Wiggins and Susie Persinger.
Also surviving are his grandkids, Rodney, Greg, Crystal, Tracy, Andy, Jamie, Tina, Johnny, Brian, Brad, Jimmy Jeff, Amber, Skyler Angie and many other family who will miss him dearly.
Harold is preceded in death by his siblings, Harry, Donnie, Edward, Howard “Red”, Bob, Carolyn, Doris, Shirley, Joann, Charles “June”, step-children, Helen, Jacky, Gene, and Linda.
A funeral service will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc., 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV; 26351 at 1:00 PM; Friday, November 8, 2024 with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating. Burial will follow in the McHenry I Cemetery near Linn, WV. Friends will be received from 11:00 AM; – 1:00 PM; Friday at the mortuary in Glenville.
