Beverly A. Jones, 58 of Nebo, WV; departed this earthly life in the mid-morning hours of Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the Braxton County Memorial hospital, following a sudden illness.
She was born August 6, 1966 in Englewood, CO; daughter of William “Bill” Jones of Nebo, WV; and the late Deanna (Mason) Jones.
Beverly is a graduate of Englewood High School in Colorado where she excelled in the Special Olympic Program, winning several medals during her time. She was very proud of the roll she played in the Special Olympics and very proud of the achievements she earned.
In her spare time, Beverly enjoyed crocheting, coloring, working with crafts, playing bingo, caring for her family and friends, and she was very proficient at sign language. Beverly was also a Methodist by faith and was very active with her mother at the Englewood United Methodist Church in Colorado.
Along with her father (Bill), Beverly is survived by her sister, Sheila Staples and husband Kris of Nebo, WV; and several Aunts uncles, cousins, and many other wonderful family and friends.
Along with her mother (Deanna), Beverly is preceded in death by an infant brother Brian Jones.
Beverly’s request for cremation has been honored and a celebration of her life will be conducted later in 2025.
