Harold Lloyd Shook Jr. age 68 of Grass Run Road, Normantown, WV; departed this life at 11:06 PM; Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport following an extended illness.
Born September 1, 1948 in Clarksburg, Harold was the son of the late Harold L. Sr. and Bernice Pearl Jones Shook.
Harold was a body repair man in the automotive industry. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, spoiling his grandchildren, hunting, fishing, and camping. He was also a Protestant by faith.
On January 27, 1996 he was united in marriage to Margie Miller Shook, who survives at their Grass Run home.
Surviving are 2 sons, Toby Shook of Stonewood and Mike Shook of Morgantown, 2 step sons, Matthew Adams of Cedar Creek, and Casey Adams of Normantown, and 1 step-sister, Jane Bryant. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Along with his parents, Harold was preceded in death by 1 brother, Larry Shook, 1 sister, Pamela Deem, and his step-mother, Helen Shook.
Graveside Services will be conducted at the Floral Hills Cemetery in Mt. Claire, WV; at 1:00 PM; Wednesday October 5, 2016 with Rev. Randy Smith officiating and Full Military Honors provided by the United States Navy and the Lewis County Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers the family of Harold L. Shook Jr., request memorial contributions be made to the Ronald McDonald House Foundation in his honor.
