Ruby Jean Hinzman Frymier age 92 of Bull Fork Road in Tanner, West Virginia, departed this life on the morning of Friday, October 21, 2016 at the Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital in Weston, WV; following an extended illness.
Born April 20, 1924 in Gilmer County, Ruby was the daughter of the late Florice K. and Nellie Maude Goff Hinzman.
Ruby was a homemaker who loved to care for her family and she was also a graduate of Tanner High School, class of 1942. Ruby was a tremendous cook who enjoyed sewing, quilting, and attending family gatherings. Ruby was a long time member of the Mt. Liberty Church and she was a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service with over 20 years experience.
On March 23, 1943, Ruby was united in marriage to Hubert Kline “Nip” Frymier who preceded her in death on July 14, 1998.
Surviving are 9 children, Kline Frymier (Marie)of Cox’s Mills, Melvin Frymier (Maria) of Florida, Doug Frymier (Pauline)of Tanner, Randy Frymier (Sharon)of Buckhannon, WV; Judy Luck of Norwich, Ohio, Janet Sheets (Eugene)of Smithville, WV; Phyllis Sabo (Tim) of Kent, Ohio, Patricia Phares (Ron) of Waynesburg, Ohio, and Joyce Thomas (Herschel)of West Union, WV.
Also surviving are 33 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, 8 great great-grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, Ruby was preceded in death by 3 sons, Mike Frymier, Kenton Frymier and David A. “George” Frymier, and 4 siblings, Ester Clevenger, Gladys Woodford, Grace Wells, and Leo Paige Hinzman.
Funeral Services will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc; 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV; 26351 at 11:00 AM; Tuesday October 25, 2016 with Rev. Ronzel Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Liberty Cemetery in Tanner, WV. Visiting hours will be from 5-8 PM; Monday evening at the mortuary.
