Frances A. Trembly Clemons age 86 of Glenville, WV departed this life suddenly in the afternoon hours of Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at the Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital in Weston. Born July 24, 1931 in Gilmer County, Frances is the daughter of the late Harry W. and Effie Wagner Trembly.
Frances was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with family and friends, caring for her loved ones, spoiling her grandchildren whenever possible and she was a Methodist by faith. In her spare time, Frances liked tending to her flowers, and she loved her cats Sally and Molly.
On May 4, 1950 Frances was united in marriage to Els Roy Clemons. They celebrated 55 years of marriage together before his passing on November 17, 2005.
Surviving are 4 children, Sharon Clemons of Weston, Judy Collins and husband Michael, Lisa Jenkins and husband Larry, and Harry Clemons all of Glenville.
Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, Allen Jenkins and wife Wanda of Linn, Amanda Jenkins and companion Scott Keyer of Weston, and Jason Collins of Glenville, 5 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter.
Funeral Services will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc; 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV 26351 at 1:00 PM, Saturday August 5, 2017 with Dr. Al Billips officiating. Burial will follow in the Stalnaker Cemetery in Glenville. Friends will be received from 6-8 PM, Friday evening at the mortuary.
